2. General

This privacy policy informs you about the type, scope, and purpose of processing personal data within our online service "Releasy" (app.releasy.net) and the associated marketing website (releasy.net), operated by Evertisy GmbH.


3. Hosting

The service is hosted on the Replit, Inc. platform (San Francisco, USA). The servers we use are located in the European Union (EU region). The hosting infrastructure processes personal data exclusively on EU servers.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).


4. Registration and User Account

When registering, we collect: first name, last name, email address, password (stored as a hash), chosen language, and the timestamp of privacy policy acceptance and, where applicable, marketing opt-in.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance).
Retention: Until the user account is deleted, then as required by statutory retention obligations.


5. Payment Processing – Stripe

We use Stripe (Stripe, Inc., San Francisco, CA, USA) for payment processing. When purchasing paid subscriptions, billing data (name, email, payment details) is transmitted to Stripe.

Third-country transfer to USA: Stripe is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and enters into EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

6. AI Features – Anthropic (USA)

Releasy offers optional AI features (Releasy KI) provided by Anthropic PBC (548 Market St PMB 90375, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA) as a data processor.

6.1 Data processed
When using AI features, the following data is transmitted to Anthropic for processing:
– Your inputs in the AI chat (KI-CoWorker)
– Artist Brain context: biography, press snippets, release metadata, and any notes stored in the Artist Brain
– Release metadata (title, date, tracks) insofar as relevant for the respective AI skill
– Skill parameters (e.g. selected release, occasion for a caption)

6.2 Purpose
Generation of AI-assisted text drafts, pitches, press releases, social media captions, and comparable content.

6.3 Legal basis
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, given before first AI use) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance of the booked AI add-on).

6.4 Third-country transfer to USA
Anthropic is based in the USA. The transfer is made on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. According to its own privacy policy, Anthropic does not use data transmitted via the API to train AI models.

6.5 Retention
Anthropic retains API requests in accordance with its own policy (currently up to 30 days for security purposes). Releasy itself stores AI chat histories in your database and deletes them when your account is closed.

6.6 Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw your consent to AI data processing at any time by cancelling the Releasy KI add-on. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.


7. Analytics

7.1 Marketing website (releasy.net)
We use Plausible Analytics (provider: Plausible Insights OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia). Plausible operates without cookies and without personal data; IP addresses are not stored.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

7.2 App (app.releasy.net)
We only set strictly necessary cookies (session). Optionally we use PostHog (EU-hosted, eu.posthog.com) for product analytics, strictly based on your explicit consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time under Settings → Privacy & Cookies.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.


8. Email Communication

We send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, system notifications) via Resend (Resend Inc., USA). Marketing emails are also sent via Resend where you have opted in.

Unsubscribe: Via the one-click unsubscribe link in every marketing email, or by emailing hello[at]releasy.net.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (transactional), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (marketing).
